    Best exercises for lower abs: lie on you back; extend legs and raise them (up and down); or perform left and right movement with legs; or make circles with legs.. An example would be “Exercise for Flat Tummy – Scissor Kick” and “Exercises for Lower Abs – Reverse Crunch” and other variations of these exercises.

    I am a bellydancer and my upper abs and sides are in pretty good shape. I’m trying to get rid of the below belly button bulge. Can you recommend a series of exercises? I can’t spend too much time daily exercising and I’m willing for this to be a slow change. Great videos!

    I also noticed you posted a comment about having problems with lower back while performing abdominal exercise. My advice to you is to combine abdominal with (lower) back workout (you can find lower back exercises on our channel too, or directly on SteadyHealth video section). It is best to perform lower back workout both before starting 1st and 2nd cycle. Of course do not forget to warm and strecth your body before starting exercise routine.

    About stretching abdominal muscles …
    You can do the trunk twist by bending backwards with your arms stretched over your head. Another good stretch is to lay on the ground, flat, arms stretched out to your sides, legs bent at the knees and hips and let them fall to either side of the body while still lying flat, turn your head the opposite way of your legs,do one side then the other, ten time for all these stretching exercises.

    As you can see the model wears weights – you can perform this exercise without them.

    Choose several abdominal exercises – 5 different exercises if you are starting with exercising routine (abdominal exercises are on last pages of our channel). Perform each exercise with at least 10-15 repetitions, 2 cycles. When you feel ready, add more exercises and more repetitions. After first cycle (after all 5 exercises) stretch your abdominal muscles.
